As you know, I like to tell it like it is when it comes to my mom. Here’s another reason she works my last nerve: Her constant habit of shoving a camera in my face like some sleazy paparazzi. So, last year when Hallmark asked her to write a web commercial for their Keepsake Ornaments I wanted to contribute. I thought I’d use the spot to highlight the fact that my mom has no discernible talent when it comes to photography — and that she’s freaking annoying. Alas, Hallmark thought the piece too “edgy.” What do you think?

that is absolutely hilarious and probably would have gotten hallmark more attention and sales than they could ever imagine. too bad for them they didn’t catch the “vision”. i love it. 🙂 on a side note, my husband and i are both professional photographers and our kids also behave like this when we turn our cameras on them…….. it’s awesome….. not so much.

I love this! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. This is my first time here. I will be back. I am in sales and really suck with a camera — but I am feeling pretty good about myself now. HAHAHAH. This is so funny. You are the best. I can’t wait to read more.

Oh boy, mommy doesn’t have it easy with you…. ummm, woops, I meant YOU don’t have it easy with mommy! 😉 My daughter’s sooo much like you… she doesn’t have it easy with me either it seems! What is a girl to do? Maybe you two should get together and conspire against us untalented picture taking mommies! Love your blog! Keep up the good laughs!
